We give to you the LOVE U NECKLACE, the big sister to our ear stud LOVE U. The necklace consists of a anchor chain and small heart pendants, and is therefore a loving and cute contribute to LULU's love for the heart designs.

The necklace comes in both silver plated and gold plated and with either red, green, or burnt coral, enamel hearts. Just as the iconic LOVE U ear stud. We also bring a new addition to the the variations, with gold plated or silver plated heart pendants.

Jewelry from LULU Copenhagen is always nickel-free.

Please notice, that our enamel colors are mixed by hand, which can create a slightly variation in the individual production. At the same time, the screen resolution and color settings on a digital device can cause the colors in the pictures to appear different from the actual colors used.

Materials & maintenance

We work with 925 Sterling Silver either gold plated, as pure silver, covered with enamel, pearls or other stones or with ruthenium plating. In some of our designs we also use brass as a base with for instance silver or gold-platings. Many of our designs consists of a range of various materials in one single jewellery. You can always read about the materials used on each jewellery in the description text. It is important to have in mind that general wear and tear causes a certain lifespan in relation to both the gold and the ruthenium platings. This is normal and it is not considered a legitimate reason to complain.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to predict how long the plating will last – it is determined by various factors; pH of your skin, exposure to chemicals (perfume, hair spray, nail polish, soap etc.), grease, high temperatures, amount of sweat and general use. You can always go to your local goldsmith and get your jewellery re-plated.

Hard surfaces

We strongly recommend you to take off rings if you need to work with hard objects such as tools or if you lift objects with hard surfaces.

 

Hand wash & lotions

Take off your jewellery when bathing and swimming but also when you wash your hands and apply lotion.

 

Cleaning

Use a soft cloth often to wipe off grease and dirt in order to keep your jewellery clean and shining – if necessary, add a drop of water.

 

Silver cleaning

We recommend silver cleaner - but only for non-plated jewellery.

 

Chemicals

Take off your jewellery before cleaning. Chlorine bleach is very harmful - like other chemicals in general. Perfume included.

 

Sports & Exercising

Take off your jewellery while exercising.

 

Sunlight & Air humidity

Avoid placing your jewellery in direct sunlight or in places with high humidity such as bathrooms.

 

Jewellery storage

When not wearing your jewellery keep it in the zip bag inside a jewellery box.
