We work with 925 Sterling silver either gold plated or as pure silver or with a ruthenium plating. It’s important to notice that the general wear and tear causes a certain lifespan in relation to both the gold and the ruthenium platings. This is normal and not a reason to complain.

It is not possible to predict how long the plating will last – it is determined by various factors; pH of your skin, exposure to chemicals (perfume, hair spray, nail polish, soap etc.), grease, high temperatures, amount of sweat and general use. You can always go to your local goldsmith and get your jewelry re-plated. Fortunately there are many ways by which you can prolong the life of your jewelry by following a few tips:

We strongly recommend you to take off the ring if you need to work with hard objects such as tools or if you lift objects with hard surfaces.

Take off your jewelry when bathing and swimming but also when you wash your hands and applies lotion.

Use a soft cloth often to wipe off grease and dirt in order to keep your jewelry clean and shining – with a drop of water, if necessary.

We recommend silver cleaner - but only for the non-plated jewelry.

Take off your jewelry before cleaning. Chlorine bleach is very harmful - like other chemicals in general. Perfume included.

Take off your jewelry while exercising.

Avoid placing your jewelry in direct sunlight or in places with high humidity such as bathrooms.

When not wearing your jewelry keep it in the zip bag inside the jewelry box.

Keep your jewelry on when making love.

WHICH RING SIZE SHOULD I GO FOR?

In order to find your ring size, measure the diameter of a ring you find comfortable to wear.

WHEN WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?

We aim to ship your order before 48 hours after we've received it but only counting business days and following Danish public holidays and exceptions listed on the webshop. This is also subject to payment clearance and stock availability. We ship worldwide with only a few countries excepted. In certain periods this time span may expand, therefor look at delivery times as guidelines.

CAN I TRACK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Both yes and no. This issue depends on where you live and also in which postal district you are located and which delivery service we can use. Besides the shop confirmation email, you will sometimes also receive a shipping tracking ID email when your order ships.

HOW IS MY PARCEL SHIPPED?

We ship your new fine jewelry inside one of our handmade jewelry boxes carefully placed inside a hard cardboard box securely wrapped and clearly displayed with recipient and other local necessary information.

ARE PRICES INCLUDING VAT?

The prices are including Danish VAT of 25%. If you live outside Denmark or the European Union you might be able to get a local tax refund. Please contact your local tax regulation office for more about this issue. Please also bare in mind that additional local taxes and customs may apply depending on in which country you live. Please ask your local customs for further information. Also please bare in mind that some local banks and credit card companies take a fee for paying online in webshops.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

To make everything as quick and responsive as possible most of our processes are automated. This unfortunately also means that we’re not able to make changes to orders after they have been placed, but you can return your jewelry and get a full refund (except costs of shipping them back, local taxes, customs and additional local bank and credit card company fees). HOW CAN I PAY?

The LULU Copenhagen webshop accepts most credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Maestro and many others. We also accept PayPal transfers. For our retailers, please contact them directly though they are 3rd party vendors.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

LULU Copenhagen offers a full cash refund as long as our terms are fulfilled. 
If your new jewelry doesn’t live up to your expectations, you may kindly return it in an original, unused condition (including all original packaging, papers, dust bag and the Return document) within 14 days after purchase for a full refund (not including shipping costs, local taxes, customs and local bank/credit card company additional fees). 

Please do as follows: 

  • Contact us immediately when you realize you need to return an item by email. 
  • Fill out the Return document included in the parcel and return it together with the item in its original, unused condition. (You can also print it here).

We recommend a trusted parcel service with an insurance of the value of the items and a tracking/guarantee delivery service such as UPS, GLS or national postal services. Please bare in mind that when you have purchased an item it is owned by you and the quality and state of the item is your sole responsibility until it reaches LULU Copenhagen.

By Danish law you as a customer are allowed to carefully inspect and look at a jewelry before returning it for a refund as long as the item is in its original condition when we receive it. Look at it as the jewelry and packaging should be in a total condition ready to be sold to another customer. If the item is damaged, used or different from when bought we are allowed to withhold and keep a sum of the amount which equals the loss that we will gain for reselling the jewelry in its now used condition. If the jewelry is too damaged to resell, LULU Copenhagen are legally empowered to not refund any of the sum. Please read more about the Danish law of Refunds here.


When we receive the item in a perfect condition we will refund the payment via reversed transfer. By Danish law we are obliged to do so before 14 days after we receive and inspect the condition of the returned item. If the jewelry received are not in a perfect condition, and part of the money are not to be refunded, the maximum of 14 days for the reversed transfer begins from the day when the reduced refund are decided and has been communicated to the customer by email. 

Please bare in mind that some local banks and credit card companies adds a fee for transferring money and we cannot be hold responsible for this fee if any. Also please bare in mind that bank transfers often takes several business days to complete. Check with your local bank or credit card provider. 

One exception for items which cannot be returned and refunded is if LULU Copenhagen has made a jewelry specially made for you or specially modified it so it is not suitable for being sold to other people.

WHAT IS THE RETURN STATUS?

Your returns will be processed within 7-14 business days from the time we receive the parcel and inspect the state of the jewelry and packaging. When we receive the item in a perfect condition we will refund the payment via reversed transfer. By Danish law we are obliged to do so before 14 days after we receive and inspect the condition of the returned item. If the jewelry received are not in a perfect condition, and part of the money are not to be refunded, the maximum of 14 days for the reversed transfer begins from the day when the reduced refund are decided and has been communicated to the customer by email. Please expect 3-5 business days for the return credit to appear on your account from the date your return is processed. For some countries/banks this can take even longer. For some banks, financial services and credit card companies you should also expect an additional fee. This fee if any is not to be paid by LULU Copenhagen. Please find details about this with your local bank or credit card provider.
